It was our absolute pleasure to meet and interview the incredible Ric Hart, as part of our feature on Death & Bereavement. Here, Ric talks openly about the loss of his wife, Jade, shortly after she gave birth to their son, Hugo. It has been and continues to be Ric's mission to channel his grief into something he and Hugo can be proud of. A huge part of this is the series of children's books he has written: Hugo & Daddy's Adventures.

She is also Mum to 3 gorgeous boys. Here, Meg talks openly about the tougher side of parenting - feeling judged, Mum-guilt, challenging behaviours and trying to get the balance right.

Emotional Health Practitioner, School Counsellor, Family Support Worker & Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor

We were incredibly lucky to interview the amazing Jo Morton-Brown again! Jo works as an Emotional Health Practitioner and is a committed advocate for the improvement of mental health, especially in children and young people. She is also Mum to a gorgeous 7-year-old boy. Here, Jo talks openly about the tougher side of parenting - feeling judged, Mum-guilt, challenging behaviours and trying to get the balance right.

What an absolute pleasure it was to speak to this incredible lady. Her mantra is: Every Child Deserves A Voice, and you could detect every ounce of Jane’s passion in our interview with her. She has such an amazing wealth of knowledge, and she answered our questions about speech and language difficulties in older children, the impact that this may have on a child’s social life and the far-reaching benefits of speech therapy.

 

We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to Jane for spending time with us, and teaching us so much about this fascinating subject. Jane has worked with children’s therapy teams in the NHS, in schools, early years’ settings and clinics, to name just a few.

WOW! This wasn't just an interview...this was an interview and a half! What an absolute pleasure it was to meet this wonderful lady: Jane Jennison. Jane has years and years' of experience, working in therapeutic environments, with both adults and children. She has a Master's Degree in Applied Positive Psychology, and is the founder of Adopting Positivity, helping people to find "authentic happiness". She uses a multi-disciplinary approach to improve well-being and positivity, and to help people achieve their outcomes using their own character strengths. Jane very kindly offered to answer our questions on learning through movement/Kinesthetic Learning!

We recently had the absolute honour of interviewing the incredible, Olivia Edwards. Olivia is a Growth Mindset Coach, and works incredibly hard to help people develop a growth mindset, challenge any beliefs that may be holding them back, discover and celebrate their unique strengths and live their best life! She is also Mum to 2 beautiful children. In the interview she shares her thoughts and advice on tackling Mum-guilt, encouraging a self-care mindset in children and focusing on goals.  We would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you to Olivia, for taking the time to speak with us and share all of her incredible advice and wisdom.

We spoke with the amazing Kelly Jarvis about Social Media and Young People. Kelly works as a Senior Education Consultant with the fabulous not-for-profit organisation: Sunshine Support, which offers independent help and advice to SEN children, their parents and schools. Definitely follow this wonderful organisation!

Kelly shared some incredible tips and techniques about how to parent children on social media. Her wealth of knowledge and passion for what she does shone through in every answer.
